This is one of my favorite series of books because I've been all over the Keys and know them well. I'm very disappointed that they have allowed them to be destroyed by mismanagement by politicians. But do politicians really ever do anything else? Myself and a few friends used Boot Key Harbor for a hurricane hole one year on the 4th of July. No fireworks that night! This is a high adventure book with characters and situations I can relate to. If I could get Mac out of the way I'd marry his girlfriend in a skinny NY heartbeat! Too bad there are no real women like her. Very good reading. I've got the entire series and they are all very well written.
